How we can help to make your journey easier

If you have any disability, medical need or if you have difficulty moving around you’ll find the information you need for a smooth journey here.

To take full advantage of the free assistance that is available, you need to pre-book no less than 48 hours before your departure. If you advise us within 48 hours we will do our best to arrange assistance where possible.

What types of airport special assistance are available?

There are a number of different types of special assistance available which can be booked by contacting our Special Assistance Team. Please see a summery below which should assist you in choosing the correct level of assistance:

  • Traveler requires assistance (departure & arrival through the airport to the boarding gate
  • Traveler requires assistance (departure & arrival) through the airport and up/down the aircraft steps .
  • Blind/vision impaired Traveler requires a walker (departure & arrival) through the airport to the aircraft seat and separate safety briefing from the cabin crew .
  • Traveler travelling with a guide/assistance dog that requires a walker (departure & arrival) through the airport to the aircraft seat and separate safety briefing from the cabin crew .
  • Traveler is blind or vision impaired but requires no assistance (travelling alone or accompanied) .
  • Self-reliant Traveler with an intellectual disability who can understand & respond to safety instructions who requires assistance (departure & arrival) through the airport to the boarding gate (departure & arrival) .
  • Traveler is profoundly deaf and requires a separate safety briefing onboard the aircraft .
  • Traveler travelling with a guide / assistance dog – no special assistance services required.
  • Traveler using Wheel Chair during their movement to and from our trips
